Garden Visits

The Trust arranges an annual programme of visits to a wide variety of gardens, from historic country estates to newly created or developing gardens.

We are fortunate in often being able to arrange visits to a number of gardens not normally open to the public. Wherever possible, we encourage the owners of these gardens to lead the tour and give their own personal commentary and insight into the creation and maintenance of the gardens.

For 2015 our programme included visits to Caerhays Castle gardens, Rosewarne House (formerly Gladys Holman House), Trelissick Gardens, Penheale Manor, Werrington Park, St Michael’s Mount, The Homestead, Bosvathick House, Victoria Park and the County Record Office, and Trebartha. The programme ended with a talk on the “Change within historic gardens” given by Richard Sneesby.

Reports on past visits are published here.

Details of this year’s programme can be found under Events.
