Tregullow, Scorrier, TR16 5AY

Tregullow, in the parish of St. Day is a woodland garden that boasts fine, unexpected vistas.  Created in the 1850s, Scorrier once boasted William Lobb as its head gardener.  Since the 1980s it has been restored with new plants and no emphasis on formality.  There is a large collection of magnolias dispersed around the garden, and these are found, like the garden as a whole, not at once, but discovered bit by bit.

Dogs on leads are welcome.
