Historic Landscapes Assembly

Monday 19th November 2018

The Hospitium, York

We’re only one month away from the Historic Landscapes Assembly, our big annual networking event for County Gardens Trusts.

The Assembly offers a chance to meet members of other CGTs from across the country and to hear from, and discuss current issues with, other heritage and landscape organisations including Historic England, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Natural England and the Woodland Trust.

Following the success of the GT’s ‘Compiling the Record’ campaign, the theme will be the 20th Century and Beyond. Keynote speaker Kim Wilkie, the celebrated designer of ‘Orpheus’ at Boughton House, will be sharing his impressions of the essence and personal inspirations of British design through the centuries and his hopes for landscape architecture in the coming century.
